all you see is crime in the city

great, as if we need more reasons for europeans to think we are idiots.
some "good samaritan" called the cops on a european tourist who was visiting family in the area. all he was doing was video taping his granddaughter at her daycare. this poor guy had to deal with concord PD hassling him, then them looking at his videotape to see if he really was just video taping his granddaughter, then he had to go and talk to pleasant hill PD.

i blame sensational television news reports and blogs like claycord.com for this paranoia where so many people seem to think the world is full of criminals.
