here's three things that people might be upset about that pop into my mind.
1. UC berkeley is goin to be moving radioactie waste through town. people in berkeley dont like radioactive waste.
2. the uc president has been the target of protests by UC employees upset about proposed budget cuts and employee furloughs.
3. the UC system has been a target by animal rights and animal liberation groups for engaging in vivsection.
i'm sure there are others as well.
